Over 160 years old, fully insulated, heated and double glazed, the floors of the Waiting Room are original Douglas fir and the accommodation has many delightful original features like the original fireplace with its multi-fuel burning stove. Logs, coal, kindling (and even a fire lighting lesson) are all included. This special hut sleeps 2 and is located in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, near to the historic market town of Hexham, with its spectacular abbey.
